When we talk about toxins in relation to detoxing, the word simply refers to any unwelcome substance in the body. Detoxification or body cleaning using something like a herbal detox is the method of removal of these poisons and toxins from the body – this could be a natural process, no less natural than respiring, excreting waste from the body.
The absence of our conscious intervention leads to accumulations of deadly wastes from sources like too much animal protein, inappropriate fat, processed foods, chemicals, flavour enhancers, dyes, alcohol, nicotine, hormones, antibiotics, pharmaceutical residues and environmental poisons, to name a couple.
Such results can end up in a selection of illness states from mild to chronic. Current research by the World Health Organisation has linked diet and environmental pollutants to as much as eighty percent of all cancers.
A predisposition to lupus, fibromyalgia, breast cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart problems, stroke candidiasis, chronic fatigue syndrome and plenty of other ailments as a consequence of body toxicity has been obviously established in the systematic literature.
